Allan Matthews is the host and producer of the shows which air in selected cities up and down the east coast on local cable TV systems. Additionally, these shows can be hosted on a web site for 24/7 viewing.
Allan Matthews' TV Shopper and FYI makes it economical for small businesses to make a half hour TV show for informing the viewing public about their business's products and services.

Our Production

Cameras, … Action!
We
shoot a TV show and 30 second commercial in a day, on location, or a suitable
space that is convenient for you and the show. This could be at your business or a local studio or even an
empty large room 15 by 15 ft typical.
The
more cameras we use the larger the space needs to be. Some shows such as a retail store are best shot with a
single camera walking around while other shows use multiple cameras up to 4, 3
for the interview and a 4th for capturing insert scenes in a sit
down conversational interview. No
scripts, maybe an outline of topics we need to cover but you just relax and
chat with the interviewer. We
piece it together later.
Sample Program
If you don’t think your
business offers a good location for the TV audience we can use an old Hollywood
trick called a chroma key screen set.
This uses 2 cameras and two opposing colored screens, one for you and
one for the interviewer. A space
of 15 by 15 ft or larger is desired.
A smaller space can be used but it limits the creative freedom for the
virtual sets we work with.

Anything’s possible, virtual living room overlooking the ocean, or place you in a high end corporate office if you want, or something appropriate for your business.
What about High Definition?
We do have High Definition for special projects but
the fact is, while many networks are using high definition, most of the current
TV cablecast or broadcast is still done in analog or digital standard
definition TV. TV Shopper and FYI
airs on cable TV Local Origination Channels as well as from this website. This is still standard definition and
will be for some time in the future.
If you have a project that requires High Definition Video, be sure to
ask about it because we do have the camera and edit facilities to deliver a
true high definition program, 1080i
format. The video must be
delivered as a downloadable webcast at this time because there is no consumer level
distribution format in widespread use capable of HDTV except from a computer
set up to display HDTV.
How can I have a show on this Website because I want
24/7 availability?
Allan Matthews selects a
small number of his shows that air on Cable each week to be featured on this
website FREE. However, all TVShopper clients have the
opportunity to get 24/7 webcast of their TV Shopper or FYI TV show. Currently ALL new clients are receiving
a webcast version in Windows Media 9 format for broadband hosted on our
server. We keep it there for one
month or longer as space permits.
If we see you are using this hosted show, it will remain there for the
duration of your current contract.
If you do not use it we pull it down and you will need to contact Allan
Matthews to have it put back.
All TVShopper and FYI TV Network Clients are contacted by e-mail when
the link is available. TVShopper and FYI TV Network clients
receive the link and will need to have their webpage developer insert the link
for them.
Don’t have a website? Well, every business should have one
today.. A website is the easiest
and best way to post a link to your show but some have had good success with
advertising the link in printed media such as a business letterhead or in your
